Upgraded the rooftop aviation obstruction lights atop Portland’s tallest building. Old incandescent aviation fixtures were replaced with new FAA-rated LED fixtures, with night-vision goggle (NVG) compatibility. Energy consumption and maintenance were both reduced, and the NVG compatibility makes it safer for the many pilots using NVGs.
